Nearly 770 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the President's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the President's List, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester. CCU has a student body of 10,600. More than 2,000 students were also named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, which means more than 21 percent of the student body earned recognition on either the Dean's List or the President's List. Of those on the President's List, 141 are freshmen, 177 are sophomores, 166 are juniors and 285 are seniors.

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Spring 2019. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

The University of Scranton conferred more than 625 master's and doctoral degrees at its graduate commencement ceremony on May 25 in the Byron Recreation Complex. Graduates recognized at the ceremony include those who completed their degree requirements in August and December of 2018, as well as January and May of 2019.

The University of Scranton conferred more than 850 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement.

More than 1,750 students have been named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

A select group of outstanding students has been named to the fall 2018 Dean's List at Adelphi University. Adelphi's deans of Arts and Sciences, Education, Business, Nursing, Social Work and Psychology recognize superior academic work every semester. The Dean's List comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least 9 graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student's academic record and is entered into the individual's transcript.

The Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania Iota Theta Chapter welcomed nine new students as members in Phi Sigma Iota, the International Foreign Language Society on Friday, April 26. The ceremony was conducted by BU faculty members Jesus Salas-Elorza, Amarilis Hidalgo de Jesus, and Patricia Dorame-Holoviak, faculty advisor. During the 2018-19 academic year, Iota Theta Chapter also held its Senior Presentation Series which included the following presenters: Jade A. Hensinger (Spanish in Medical Care), Michael Quaranto (Norilsk and Barrow, similar conditions, dissimilar supply chains), and Nicholas McGuire (Comparing the Governments of Spain and Argentina). Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, NJ have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester.

University of Scranton students inducted into Chi Delta Rho, the University's chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for counseling.

University of Scranton students built homes, served at-risk youth and prepared meals for the homeless during their participation in six domestic service trips, organized by Campus Ministries' Center for Service and Social Justice, over spring break.

Thirty-four University of Scranton Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) students who presented research at the American Physical Therapy Association's Combined Sectors Meeting in Washington, D.C., in January. The students conducted the research and made the poster presentations with seven physical therapy faculty members, who served as their advisors.

University of Scranton students studied abroad during the Intersession 2019 semester.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall 2018 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Junior Kelly Groth of the Kutztown University women's track and field team has had a knack for setting school-record in her track events this season. She was at it again as her 7.70 in the 60m won the event and set a new school-record joining freshman Taye Dairo as first-place winners in leading KU to the 2019 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championship Saturday at Edinboro University. It is the fourth title for Kutztown and first since 2006. Groth won the PSAC's Most Outstanding Runner. Groth and Dairo now join their current teammate Meghan Forsythe as Indoor PSAC Champions. Forsythe won the 400m at last year's championships. Groth had a successful day, also running in the 4x4 relay team with Ashley Stewart, Forsythe and Tishun Graham that took home the gold. Groth also took home silver in the 200m. Dairo won the high jump in a career-best jump of 1.69m (5-6.50), which is third all-time at KU. A total of eight Golden Bears achieved career-bests Saturday, and five more found themselves with top-10 marks in program history. Kira Solt, who finished seventh in the pentathlon with a career-high 2914 points, also had a career-best time of 9.07 in the 60m hurdles prelims, which is tied for fourth all-time in KU lore. Joanne Mason was at the top of the leaderboard after the prelims at 9.05, and finished fifth after the final at 9.13. The 4x8 relay team of Stephanie Bresadola, Julie Stratton, Lindsay Hoffman and Julia Wiemken crossed the finish line in second at a time of 9:36.05 which sneaks into the top-10 at 10th. Ashley Petre also won silver in the weight throw with a career-high throw of 16.76m (55-0), fourth in school-history. Amanda Ferraro and Lindsay Smyth both had career-bests in the 3000m and 5000m respectively, and Kathleen Silverman posted a PR of 3.15m (10-4) in the pole vault.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2018 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

The following students have been named to Alvernia University's Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
